Admission procedure: Commencement of semester/s:
February & July each year. When to start applying:
Start the application process at least six months
prior to the commencement of a programme. Deadlines:
There are no specific deadlines. However students
should send in their applications at least three
months prior to admission. Tentative month to know
the result: for the July intake, students will know
their results by April, while for the February intake
they should receive intimation by November.

Document required: " Your application docket
should contain your resume, Statement of Purpose
(SoP), mark sheets and certificates, transcripts,
letters of recommendations, IELTS scores, work experience
letters, besides a photocopy of your passport and
two photographs." Academic background: In case of
UG courses, students are admitted mainly on the
basis of their Class XII results (most universities
seek at least 75 per cent). PG courses are offered
on a case-to-case basis for which, a good academic
background is absolutely mandatory. Recommendation
letters, Statement of purpose, Extracurricular activities
certificates. Standardized test scores such as SAT,
TOEFL, IELTS: An English Language proficiency test
is mandatory for admission to New Zealand institutions.
In case of TOEFL, an idea score for UG courses is
250, while for PG courses it ranges between 260-270.
In case of IELTS, it's 6.5 band for UG and 7.0 band
for PG."
4. Tuition and living Cost: Tuition fees
usually range between NZ$10,200-18,000 per annum
depending on the course of study. However, al programmes
are charged on a yearly basis. Cost of living: Students
need to plan a minimum budget of NZ$8,00-10,000
per annum.
5. Scholarships: It's not easy to get scholarships
for studying in New Zealand.
6. part time Jobs: Students can work part-time
for 15 hours a week provided they enroll for full-time
courses that are of a 12-month duration.
Job
opportunities: After completing their courses,
students are encouraged to stay and work. In fact,
New Zealand has already begun wooing Indian talent
in order to fill over 2,500 vacancies in key it
areas. Students who have studied in New Zealand
universities will be preferred for these posts.
The government is also making the immigration policy
more responsive to business needs. Spouses are granted
work permits in New Zealand if they manage to find
a job.
